I've been seeing a lot of tie front blouses around lately. There was a pattern for one here, which fitted the bill. The pattern is from the October issue of Burda Magazine.
I like how this fits, and I especially like the tie front.
It might be a little cold for the coming season, but I can always wear it in the Spring.
The fabric is a vintage find, there is a little bit of silver thread going through it. Though not sure if this can be seen from the pictures.
It was a very quick and easy blouse to put together, can't wait to wear it. (Birthday Pizza tonight)
Hi Emer,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog! I like your version a lot! The vintage fabric is lovely. I see, you have changed the bow size. That was a good idea. The big bow can be annoying some times (e.g. while eating). I had problems with the instructions, too. That is why in the end I sewed it on with my hands. :)
Glad you like it. Its pity instructions were so bad. Good idea to sew it on by hand I think.
ReplyDeleteWow, so many finished projects lately. This blouse and the sleeveless dress are very good looking!
ReplyDeleteHi, thanks I guess I spend most of my time sewing lately.
